Honored to have been serving Brooklyn since 1988, we proudly share our record-breaking stats.
We are often asked why “78”?
Our former name, the 78th Precinct Youth Council, was inspired due to its origins in the 78th Police Precinct. Although, we are not officially affiliated with the Precinct, we decided to keep the “78” as a nod to 30 years serving this community and the surrounding areas.
78 Youth Sports is one of the largest not for profit youth sports organizations in New York City. It is run by a small but dedicated full-time staff, board of directors, special advisory board, and volunteers.
